Women Who Lead, Lift, and Light Up the World - Happy International Women’s Day!

Women. Absolute superheroes. Running businesses, leading teams, raising tiny (and not-so-tiny) humans, mentoring others, keeping friendships alive, and somehow remembering birthdays without Facebook reminders.

And today, on International Women’s Day, we’re just making it official: women get things done.

Faith, Grit, and a Whole Lot of Holy Determination

Some of the greatest leaders in history weren’t the ones with the loudest voices, they were the ones actually making things happen.

Take Esther, Ruth, and Deborah, women who saw challenges, trusted God, and said, “Alright, I got this.” No waiting around for a perfect moment, no checking if they had the “right” qualifications. Just bold action and unshakable faith.

And let’s be real—if the Proverbs 31 woman existed today, she’d be leading a company, running a side hustle, meal prepping for the week, and somehow still responding to group texts on time.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." – Proverbs 31:25

(And sometimes she laughs because life is chaotic, and if she doesn’t, she might cry—but she keeps going anyway.)

Women Are Out Here Crushing It—Here’s the Proof

Let’s throw some numbers in the mix:

📊 42% of businesses in the U.S. are owned by women, generating nearly $2 trillion a year.
📊 Female-led startups outperform male-led ones but still get less than 3% of venture capital funding (tell me how that makes sense 🤨).
📊 Women in faith-driven leadership are on the rise because business and calling aren’t mutually exclusive.

Women aren’t just breaking ceilings—they’re building whole new levels, probably while answering emails and making dinner at the same time.

How to Actually Support Women (Because They Deserve More Than Just an Instagram Post)

Women do a lot. The least we can do is show up and support them in ways that actually matter:

Buy from women-owned businesses—Not just a “like” on Instagram, but an actual purchase.
Hype up the women around you—Send that “You’re crushing it” text. It takes 10 seconds.
Open doors for women—If you can connect someone to an opportunity, do it.
Pray for women in leadership—Faith-driven leadership isn’t always easy. Cover them in support and encouragement.

To the Women Who Inspire Me (And Also Keep Me in Line)

I don’t have to look far to see incredible women in action… they’ve been in my life from the start.

My mother, Elona, is the definition of a powerhouse. A leader, a mentor, a woman who sees potential in others before they even see it in themselves.

My sister, Sarah, is all spunk and energy, the kind of person who lights up a room and makes everyone feel like they belong.

And my wife, Louisa, brings joy and kindness into every space she enters. She makes life brighter, not just for me but for everyone who knows her.

So here’s to them and to every woman out there making things happen, leading with faith, and somehow remembering to defrost the chicken before dinner.

You are seen. You are valued. And you are absolutely crushing it.

Happy International Women’s Day!
